Become part of the team of volunteers. Come and learn how we express or spread their faith through our ministries.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the people of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Here at Scotch Plains Baptist Church we believe in developing mature Christians for witness and service in God’s kingdom and it all starts with knowing the Word.  Our Bible Study groups meet on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.  All are welcome to  participate.

At SPBC we believe in spreading the word through Christian witnessing. Following the great commission of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20) we endeavor to witness beyond the walls of the church that others may come to know the saving grace of our Lord and Savior.

We also have classes specifically for those new to the Christian faith – So keep tuned to our announcements for upcoming events and activities!

This ministry oversees the missionary and stewardship programs of the church.  This includes assisting with the American Baptist Women’s Ministries of New Jersey.

At SPBC we believe it is our obligation to raise up a new generation of Christ-centered young leaders who will impact the world.

Do you love children and have desire to work with them? Are you concerned with their education and knowledge of Jesus Christ?  This is the perfect place for you!

We welcome any youth in grades 6-12 join us for one of our regular meetings held most Sundays from 6:30-7:30.

The Women of Faith Ministry of Scotch Plains Baptist Church seeks to empower women to become God’s witnesses in the lives of women and girls, the church, the community and the world by creating and sustaining relationships that are Christ-centered and spiritually grounded.

All women of the Church are invited to join us in this endeavor.

At SPBC praise is what we do! You’re welcome to come out and join us as we minister God’s word in song!
