FOOD BANK & PANTRY
Scotch Plains Baptist Church supports the Fanwood Presbyterian Church Food Pantry in their fight to combat hunger and poverty in our local area with monthly food donations and hygiene products to families who find themselves unable to make ends meet.
If you would like to help, food donations are accepted on the first of the month, or you can drop them off any time at Scotch Plains Baptist Church or you can volunteer to help pack the food bags.
The bags are packed on the third Friday of each month at Scotch Plains Baptist in the Chapel.
FOOD BANK
Many members of the Scotch Plains Baptist Church volunteer their time quarterly at The Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside, New Jersey to help them serve several counties in New Jersey with much needed supplies.
The Community Food Bank is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization. Working together with volunteers, donors and our many partners, we fill the emptiness caused by hunger with Food, Help and Hope.
